About the session
Join 30 young changemakers from across Europe for an engaging in-person workshop on Networking and Project Ideation, held in Copenhagen, Denmark, on January 11th, 2025. This event brings together participants from 10 countries to collaborate, share ideas, and strengthen the Nordic Youth Platform’s collective impact.
Participants will explore innovative solutions to youth challenges, exchange best practices, and leave with actionable project ideas rooted in the UN’s 17 SDGs and the 12 Core Values of the Hizmet.

Event description
The workshop opened with a presentation of the Nordic Youth Platform’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values, followed by an interactive Mentimeter session connecting the UN SDGs with the Hizmet’s core values.
A 40-minute networking activity sparked conversations around personal values, volunteering experiences, and visions for the future. Participants then joined a keynote public dialogue — “From Passion to Action: Being an Active Youth” — exploring how young people can turn their passions into meaningful societal contributions.
The heart of the day was a 75-minute interactive workshop split into three groups, tackling:
- The biggest challenges youth face today
- Youth-focused project ideas for local communities
- How to best engage and inspire young people
The event closed with a Kahoot quiz and a 15-minute Q&A session.
