  • Students and recent graduates in medicine, nursing, dentistry, pharmacy and biomedicine
  • Young people interested in healthcare service, volunteering, and international experience
  • Primarily youth based in Europe, with international participation

  • Organization of interactive digital thematic seminars on healthcare-related topics
  • Professional mentorship sessions with experienced healthcare professionals
  • 2-days practical workshops and skill-based training twice a year

What the project is about

Youth Health Platform is an initiative that brings together students and young professionals from medical and health-related fields to foster professional development and international collaboration. The platform creates opportunities for learning, mentorship, and hands-on experience through seminars, workshops, and international medical projects.

What is the project?

The project is a 10-day program in Uganda designed for students and graduates in medical and health-related fields.

Participants volunteer at a medical camp and an orphanage while
taking part in social activities and gaining firsthand cultural experience in Uganda

10 day timetable

31 July: Visiting local market
Team-building

1-2 August: Orientation Day

3-5 August: 1-2 August

6-7 August: Food-package distribution and play at the orphanage

8-9 August: Nile river cruise(extra cost) Zipline(extra cost) Safari(extra cost)

Participation fee is 400 euro pr person. This includes:

  • accomodation
  • transport(to/from airport and throughout the stay)
  • breakfast, dinner and refreshments
  • wifi at the guesthouse/hotel

  • Apply for visa a month before departure
  • Yellow fever vaccination is obligatory at the entry
  • Speak with your own doctor about other recommended vaccinations
  • Passport should be valid minimum 6 months at the arrival
