The NYP Career Mentoring Program connects university students with experienced professionals. It helps students prepare for professional life through one-on-one mentoring, career guidance, and practical skill-building activities.
The program is for:

Mentees: Bachelor’s and master’s students (2nd year and above) from all fields who want help with career planning and professional development.

Mentors: Professionals, industry experts, and leaders who want to support students by sharing their experience and knowledge.
The main goal is to help students move more confidently from university to working life. The program supports students in understanding career options, building skills, and learning what the professional world really expects.
Each student is matched with a mentor based on their field, interests, and career goals. Mentor and mentee meet at least once a month, either online or in person, to discuss career plans, challenges, and development.
The program lasts 1 to 2 academic years, with a minimum of one mentoring meeting per month.
Most activities take place online through the NYP Discord Server. Some selected events may be in-person or hybrid and held in European cities like Stockholm, Copenhagen, or Oslo.

No. The program is volunteer-based. Mentors volunteer their time, and students participate without any fees.
Matching is based on academic background, career interests, and professional goals, using information from the application forms.
